Christmas flowers leaving the island
We were up bright and early yesterday morning to make sure your Christmas flowers left the islands on time. The inter-island freight boat had to make a special early morning dash to pick up boxes of flowers after strong winds the previous night stopped them coming along side. The flowers got to St Mary's quay in time for the boat to mainland and are now safely on their way.
