06/06/2007 - Perfect Pinks and an Island Wedding
Our crop of Scented Show Pinks is now in full flow. Keith, our field manager and his team have produced a top quality crop of really strong flowers that are looking and smelling gorgeous. Now all they have to do is pick them all!
In May Andrew and Hilary Julian’s daughter Amy married Steve Lenny here on St Martin’s. It was a beautiful day although all the guests were well dressed for any weather as the wedding had a welly boot theme. Of course Churchtown Farm’s Scented Show Pinks featured heavily in the décor both at the Island Chapel and at the reception venue – the new farm shed where a feast of pasties and strawberries was enjoyed by all.
