How we deliver your flowers
All our flowers are sent by 1st class Royal Mail and the price includes delivery to any UK postcode. In the run up to Christmas deliveries can take slightly longer so your flowers will arrive around the delivery date you have chosen. We can deliver to any UK postal address including Northern Ireland and non-mainland addresses but are unable to deliver to PO boxes or BFPO addresses.
This is how it works
Your flowers will be freshly picked, packed and posted to the mainland by plane or by ship. However due to our remote location occasionally the post can be delayed, usually due to bad weather.
All our flowers are guaranteed
If you ever have a problem with our service let us know as soon as possible so we can put things right.
We don't send flowers on .....
.....weekends and bank holidays because we want your flowers to be as fresh as possible. This is why some days are blanked out on the calendar.
How do we send your flowers?
We send all of our flowers using 1st Class Royal Mail and they will leave Scilly by plane or ship. To enable us to deliver your flowers we do need an accurate address including the correct postcode for the delivery address. If you are having any trouble finding an address or postcode please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
When will my flowers arrive?
Your flowers will arrive around the delivery date you have chosen. Any December delivery dates are only approximate. During the rest of the year flowers will normally arrive the day before or on your chosen delivery date. Due to our remote location delays occasionally occur, normally due to bad weather.
How much do you charge for postage?
All of our prices include postage and packaging so the price you see is all you have to pay.
What happens if no one is home
All our boxes are clearly labelled, ‘Fresh flowers please leave’. The postman makes the final decision to leave them or not. In the vast majority of cases flowers are left in a safe place. We can always add an extra delivery instruction if you wish. Don't forget all our flowers are guaranteed.
When do I need to order by?
We hope our last send of Christmas flowers will leave Scilly on the Royal Mail's last 1st class posting day BUT the weather and our remote location might prevent this. Also there is a limit to the number of flowers we can pick, pack and post so we may sell out ahead on the last posting date. In short, it is better to order early to avoid disappointment.
Apart from in December we need to receive an order by 12 noon to post it out the same day. We send flowers out Monday to Thursday. Occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control it may not be possible to send flowers on the requested day. However, this is very rare and we will always do our best to ensure that your flowers arrive on time. In December it is not always possible to send flowers for immediate dispatch hence on the calendar some days are blanked out.
