Robo Flail

We have been making good use of an impressive bit machinery that we've invested in with the help of the Isles of Scilly National Landscape. It's a remote controlled flail that munches gorse. It is enabling us to fence more extensive areas for our cows to graze and where there is really dense gorse gorse cover to clear large areas and break up the monoculture that has developed. Because it is remote controlled and a relatively compact size it can be used on slopes that would be far too steep and dangerous to use a tractor on.
