Beef for sale at Churchtown Farm

Meat from our heard of grass-fed, pedigree Red Ruby Devons can only be bought directly from Churchtown Farm. The meat from this slow growing breed is beautifully marbled and extremely tasty. Scroll down the page for prices and cuts. You can buy frozen beef by calling at the farm or pre-ordering for collection, just follow the instructions below.

Our cows are an integral part of how we manage soil health on the farm, they also do conservation grazing for the Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust.

How to pre-order beef

You're very welcome to call in at Churchtown Farm and buy beef or you can pre-order using the form below to reserve your beef and pick it up when you are on St Martin's.

1) Have a look at what we have in stock - see price list below and make a choice. Please note all our beef is sold frozen.

2) Use the form below using the comment box for your order details, or email [email protected] to tell us what you would like. Please include a contact phone number and when, ideally, you would like to collect. We are open 9am - 5pm every day except Sunday.

​3) Please come to Churchtown Farm to collect your beef, you can pay by card or cash. Please provide your own shopping bag.

4) Enjoy your beef. ​

STEAKS

Fillet - Top of the range, melt in the mouth steak. Perfect for a posh night in!
Rib-eye - Heavily marbled, very juicy and tender.
Sirloin - A premium tasty tender cut that can be cooked quickly.
Rump - Juicy steaks marbled with fat that adds taste.
Minute - A very quick cut to cook. Best enjoyed in a crispy baguette.

EASY MEALS

Mince - Our mince has a good fat content to make it tasty and moist.
Sausages - A deeper flavour than a traditional pork sausage, with a firm texture.
Burgers - Top quality chunky burgers that stay chunky as they cook.
Diced steak - This needs to be cooked slowly with plenty of moisture. Perfect for stews, casseroles and curries.

JOINTS AND OTHER CUTS

Topside - A tender roasting joint that can be roasted relatively quickly, any left overs will make tasty sandwiches.
Brisket - Give this joint plenty of cooking time on a lowish heat and it will be perfect. Great joint for a pot roast.
Skirt - A very south west cut, perfect for pasty making.
Shin - A tasty cut that adds depth of flavour to a stew. Excellent when combined with dice steak.
